Last week while I was changing the sheets on the bed, I decided that it was the perfect opportunity to get a few pictures of the kiddos.
They weren't very interested. At least one of them and often both of them didn't feel like cooperating.
But my perseverance paid off and there are a few pictures that I am happy with.
In between lots of blurry, bouncing around Jayce, and fussy, unhappy Hannah, there were some sweet and peaceful moments.
There were also moments of collective non-cooperation. I laughed out loud when I saw this picture, and I think I have many similar pictures in my future. Each doing their own thing, looking their own way, and neither at the camera. I can just hear myself already, "Jayce, look at Mom, no...Hannah! Look over here. Jayce!..." Oh well. It's a good thing I'm so darn laid back.
But they will cooperate for a second when I don't even realize it is happening. The rascals.

Erin, I think you fibbed a bit yesterday when you said you didn't get any good shots besides the test one. These kids are just too stinking gorgeous! I can only imagine how good the sibling shots are going to get over at your house as they grow! I pinned the one from yesterday because it is just such a gorgeous picture. Hope you don't mind, and if you do, let me know and I'll take it down asap! :)
ReplyDeleteAre these with the new camera? I love it!
Great shots, Erin. From experience, the crying ones will be a big hit with the kids when they're older. I have a LOT of Eli crying and he thinks they are hilarious.

ReplyDeleteI have two little boys and remember attempting a similar shot when my youngest was a baby. Looks like you got some keepers there! I love the last one!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, Erin! I always thought J was quite the camera ham, but I think little missy will top him!
ReplyDeleteThese pictures are great even the ones that don't seem so great at first. I love the last one.
